Four people have been arrested as part of the ongoing investigations into the fire that broke out in a 12-story building in Tirana yesterday, while another person has been declared wanted by the authorities.
According to sources from the investigation group, the 4 arrested are Enver Ademi, an engineer; Altin Furtuna, the contractor who built the facade; Razie Sula, manager of a market in the area, and Agron Cara, administrator of the building.
One of those arrested is the manager of a supermarket in the area, who is suspected of being involved in the circumstances that led to the spread of the flames. Meanwhile, the building's administrator has also been arrested.
Investigations are still ongoing and authorities are working to fully elucidate the causes of the fire and the respective responsibilities of the persons involved.
