A fire broke out today on the sixth floor of the Radisson Hotel in the capital, causing temporary panic, but the situation was quickly brought under control by emergency services.

According to sources on the ground, the fire is suspected to have been caused by an electrical fault in one of the air conditioning units on this floor. Immediate intervention made it possible to isolate the source without allowing the flames to spread further to other areas of the building.

There are no reports of people being injured or asphyxiated by smoke from the incident.
