The Ministry of Defense has published summarized information on the fire situation in the country, indicating that the situation appears generally stabilized and under control.
According to reports from the Civil Protection system structures, work continues on several active hotspots, while the affected areas are being monitored. There is no reported risk to residential areas.
In the Tirana district, in the Dajti area, near the Selita water plant, monitoring of the fire continues. Meanwhile, in Cikallesh, Kavaja, the fire that was reactivated the day before remains active, but the situation does not appear problematic and is being managed by firefighting structures. Air support has also been provided in the operation by means of the Armed Forces.
In Priska e Madhe, work continues to bring several small outbreaks under control.
In the Fier region, the fire in the Riban–Ngraçan–Panahor–Ndrenie–Vlosht area, in Mallakastër, is currently under control. The fire that has advanced from Hekali towards the Koilac–Greshicë area is also under control.
In the Durrës region, the situation in Abaze i Kruja has stabilized and the fire is under control. Only a few small smoldering fires remain on the ground.
Two helicopters, 30 Armed Forces personnel with two firefighting vehicles, as well as 12 personnel and three vehicles from the Kruja Municipal Emergency Management Agency have been deployed to manage the situation in Abaze.
