The Ministry of Defense has announced the fire situation in the country as of 14:00 PM, where 10 fires have been reported. Five of them remain active, while four are under monitoring.

21 firefighting vehicles and 153 operational forces have been engaged in the firefighting operations, while 125 Armed Forces personnel and two Air Force helicopters are supporting them.

In Krujë, the fire in Abaze continues to be active, but does not pose a threat to residential areas. Meanwhile, in Krastë, the flames have increased in intensity and have spread to a forest massif. Local forces, 50 members of the Armed Forces and an Air Force helicopter are operating on the ground. There is no threat to residential areas in this area either.

In Priska e Madhe, operations continue with four fire engines, 15 MZSH personnel and the support of a helicopter. Here too, there is no danger to residential areas.

The hotbeds on Mount Nemëçka, in the municipality of Përmet, and in Goraj–Budishë, in the municipality of Malësi e Madhe, also remain active. Both are located in difficult terrain and at high altitudes, but do not pose a risk to inhabited areas.

In Vilëz i Kurbinit, the intervention of local forces and 35 members of the Armed Forces enabled the complete extinguishing of the fire at 13:00 PM.

Meanwhile, the fire in Cikallesh, Kavaja, has been completely extinguished and the area continues to be monitored. The fires in Riban–Ngraçan–Panahor–Çyçe, in Mallakastër, as well as the fire in Drenie, Patos, have also been extinguished and are under monitoring.

In Dajt, the situation continues to be monitored.

According to the Ministry of Defense, there is currently no direct threat to residential areas, while work to extinguish the fire is ongoing.
