Former prosecutor Alaudin Malaj, speaking on "Oponencje" about the "Balluku" case and Prime Minister Edi Rama's stance that his request will be reviewed by the Constitutional Court on Friday, said that the chief executive should have been expected to remain silent.
Malaj said that Rama has attacked judges and the judges' association has reacted by calling the attack on the Constitutional Court, which is outside the judicial system, an indication of an attack on judges.
"The fact with Mrs. Balluku has been made clear by the prosecutor and the judge, she should have been suspended from duty until she was acquitted. Rama should have been silent on this matter and reinstated her when she was found innocent, showing 1 million Albanians that he was right," said former prosecutor Alaudin Malaj.
