Former Durrës Cadastral Lawyer Mikel Zaho has been arrested for the third time today. The police statement states that the 46-year-old is accused of abuse of office, as he is suspected of having alienated properties on the coast.

"The Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes detained the wanted citizen Mikel Zaho, 46 ​​years old, resident of Durrës, after the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense of 'Abuse of office'", the police statement states.

Former lawyer Zaho was initially put in jail in 2019, then again in 2021 and this Wednesday, in 2024.
