During a meeting with residents in Prrenjas, Prime Minister Edi Rama also commented on the opposition protests, stating that some former democrats have joined the majority.
"Albania will not go back. We will take it forward with all the democrats who find the way. We will pave the way, and there are many of them," said Rama.
He also mentioned the current head of the National Youth Agency, emphasizing that she has previously been involved in the ranks of the Democratic Party.
"The director of the Youth Agency was a leader of the DP youth and she says: 'Where have we been?' Why, don't you see that she is among people and not among blind people," Rama said.
Who is the head of the Agency?
The institution's official website states that Sara Bodo holds the position of director of the National Youth Agency. In 2021, she was introduced as the chairwoman of the DP Youth Forum in Vlora (FRPD).
Bodo was appointed to the position in October 2025.
The Agency's official announcement states that her appointment marks a new chapter for the institution and youth policies in the country.
"The National Youth Agency welcomes Ms. Sara Bodo in her official capacity as Director of the institution, marking the beginning of a new and important chapter for the Agency and youth policies in the country," the statement said.
According to the institution, Bodo has an academic background in Italy and the United Kingdom, as well as experience in the public and private sectors, and has long been engaged in projects related to youth and civil society.
The agency emphasizes that under its leadership it aims to strengthen the role of young people in the social and economic development of the country and to remain an open and inclusive institution for the aspirations of Albanian youth.
