An old video of a 2004 interview with Julio Iglesias, broadcast on an Argentine television channel, is circulating widely on social media, prompting strong reactions. The footage shows the famous singer kissing presenter Susana Giménez on the lips during the broadcast, despite her apparent resistance. In the interview, which took place on the show “Susana Giménez,” Iglesias is seen hugging the presenter and attempting to kiss her on the lips several times. In the video, he grabs her by the head with his hands and tries to immobilize her, while Giménez tries to avoid contact. Despite her reactions, the singer manages to kiss her against her will.

Then, as Iglesias sits on the couch, he repeatedly asks the presenter to sit next to him and tries to kiss her again. Giménez reacts by humorously deflecting the situation, while the show continues live. The video's return comes at a delicate moment for the 82-year-old artist, who is currently facing serious allegations of harassment and sexual assault by two of his former employees. A formal complaint has been filed with the Audiencia Nacional, Spain's highest criminal court, accusing Julio Iglesias of human trafficking and sexual assault. According to The Guardian, the allegations relate to events that allegedly occurred about five years ago, in 2021, at the singer's properties in the Caribbean, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas.

One of the women, identified only as Rebecca for security reasons, claims that Iglesias would often call her to his room and sexually assault her without her consent. “I felt like an object, like a slave,” she said, adding that the incidents often occurred in the presence of another employee who was her superior. The second woman, identified only as Laura, claims that Iglesias kissed her and touched her breasts without her permission, both on the beach and in the pool at his villa in Punta Cana. Both women described a controlled and intimidating work environment. Rebecca described the residence as “a house of horrors,” alleging that the singer would frequently ask them personal and intrusive questions, including about their sexual orientation and cosmetic procedures, as well as requests to expose themselves physically.
