A former teacher, participant in the protest taking place in Skanderbeg Square, has spoken about the economic situation and pensions, expressing his support for the protesters' causes. "I was a teacher. The causes of the protest are very fair. I received very little money, but today I have even less pension. These corrupt politicians receive 100 times more than me," he said.

Speaking about pensions, the former teacher said that even though he receives a pension, he does not consider it sufficient to meet daily needs.

"I get something, but I don't call it enough. Those who get 100 times, what do they eat?", he said. The former teacher also criticized the government for the pension scheme, claiming that the promise made by Prime Minister Edi Rama for this scheme has not been kept.

"Rama removed the pension scheme he promised," he declared. The protest in Skanderbeg Square continues as citizens are expected to march towards the Prime Minister's Office, where rallies against the government have been taking place for 74 days.
