Alarm in the France camp just a few days before their debut at the 2026 World Cup. The technical staff led by Didier Deschamps is following with concern the physical condition of two of the team's key players.

In the last training session, defender William Saliba trained separately from the group due to a back problem. His condition is being continuously monitored by the medical staff, while there is still no final decision on his readiness for the first match of the tournament.

Meanwhile, Theo Hernandez was also absent from training. According to reports, the full-back has been rested as a precaution to manage the physical load, with no signs of a serious injury at the moment.

Despite these concerns, the atmosphere in the French camp remains positive, as coach Deschamps continues to work on the ideal formation ahead of the first challenge of the World Cup. One of the main dilemmas remains the offensive department, where alternatives are being evaluated to complete the attack alongside Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé and Michael Olise.

France will begin their World Cup journey by facing Senegal, with the aim of confirming their status as one of the main favorites for the trophy.
