A road accident occurred this Friday morning at the intersection of "Onhezmi" and "Skënderbeu" streets in Saranda, where a vehicle left the road and collided with the protective barrier.

According to preliminary information, the driver of the vehicle, a French citizen, lost control of the Mercedes-Benz vehicle, causing significant material damage.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident and the driver escaped unharmed.

The Saranda Traffic Police immediately arrived at the scene and conducted an alcohol test on the driver. The result was 0.00 mg/l, confirming that he had not consumed alcohol.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident to determine the cause that led to the loss of control of the vehicle.
