The Albanian community in the United Kingdom held a protest yesterday against the Albanian government, denouncing what they call rampant corruption, state capture, and policies that have forced young people to leave the country.

With slogans against Edi Rama's government and calls for the dismantling of the corrupt system, Albanians of the diaspora in England made it clear that their voices will be heard directly on the streets of the capital.

Protesters announced the departure of a large convoy of vehicles from England to Albania, with the aim of landing in Tirana to join the massive protest on September 12th.

This car march that will traverse Europe is seen as a strong message that the diaspora is willing to sacrifice to oppose the current government in their home country.
