Years ago, he became a protagonist in the show "With an Open Heart", where he recounted a serious episode from his life. During a fierce family conflict, Bruka was injured with an axe by his ex-wife, and then he seriously injured her. The incident ended in court: Bruka was sentenced to prison, the couple divorced, and the children remained in the custody of their mother.

In 2017, he shocked the capital again when he climbed onto a chimney in the Lapraka area of Tirana, threatening to jump from a height of over 50 meters. For more than an hour, police forces, RENEA, firefighters and family members negotiated to convince him to come down. According to what was learned at the time, the cause of the extreme act was a deep family conflict and the inability to meet the children, due to a protection order obtained from his ex-wife.
