Tehran's main demands to bring an end to the war include war reparations and control of the Strait of Hormuz, said Iran's First Vice President, Reza Aref.
He said Tehran demanded US recognition of its control over transit through the vital strait during talks in Islamabad, which ended without a conclusion.
Aref said that having "authority in the Strait of Hormuz" and seeking compensation for the damage caused by American and Israeli attacks were "the rights of the Iranian people."
"This is our firm commitment to a strong Iran," he wrote on social media.
