British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, at the G7 Summit in France, stated that the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz is very important for Britain.
Starmer added that the UK would play its "full role" in opening the Strait of Hormuz "as soon as possible".
Starmer has raised concerns about the impact of this situation on energy prices, adding that it has affected every home.
Energy costs have risen sharply since Iran responded to US and Israeli attacks by effectively blocking the crucial Strait of Hormuz shipping route.
Starmer also says he welcomes the agreement between the US and Iran and congratulates Trump and the mediators.
