The diaspora has responded to the call of Albanians who have been protesting in Tirana for days, in front of the Prime Minister's Office. Yesterday, Albanians in Bologna also rose up in protest, while issuing calls against the government and Prime Minister Rama himself.
They demanded his resignation.
"My grandmother told me; what do you need to get out of here?! I'm going out because they're taking me out of the house. A little child here said; Rama leave, so I can come. That's all we need. In Albania, there are no medicines, no tests. It's not just Narta and Zvërnec. There's nothing worse than kicking children out of the house, because we've fled to emigration. There's no meritocracy in Albania, the friend and the strong win. Not the good. That's why we're here! Mr. Prime Minister, that's our house. These citizens who are here will come there. That office over there is ours. Now take your clothes and go to Surrel," said a young man, lifting the hearts of all those present at the protest.
