An Albanian living in Italy has joined today's protest in Tirana.
He called on citizens to remain united and not give up until the departure of Prime Minister Edi Rama, who he says showed with "Albanian Files" that the projects are not for Albanians, but for the government.
"Albania Files, the projects are not intended for the citizens, but for the government. An Albania is being built, where Albanians become redundant. Perhaps the prime minister, thinking that when the country is empty we will be spectators, has forgotten that power is not the property of the government, but the trust of the citizens. Peoples do not hand over their freedom to governments. Hamzat's son should know that you can scare a people but you cannot take away their dignity. Albania will never accept the return of a dictatorship. Implement the demands announced from this square and resign," he said.
