A police officer was injured during an operation to capture the much-wanted Klodian Llomi (Mazari). At 4:00 in the morning, police landed at the 35-year-old's apartment in the village of Kërçisht, Maqellarë, while in an attempt to arrest the young man, the Eagles' officer, 40-year-old Gentian Meda, was injured.

Journalist Enver Doçi in a live report for News24, stated that the police officer fell from the perimeter wall of the apartment of the wanted man, sustaining head injuries. The police officer was first taken to Bulqiza Hospital, and then transported by helicopter for specialized treatment at Trauma. It is learned that the police officer's condition is out of danger.

Meanwhile, the 35-year-old was arrested by colleagues of the injured police officer, and he is expected to be extradited to Italy, as he is accused of the criminal offenses of 'Exploitation of prostitution' and participation in a 'criminal organization'.
