The Lezha Police have solved the incident that occurred on July 25, 2026 in Kurbin, where a 22-year-old man was injured with a gunshot. As a result of the investigations, the suspected perpetrator has been identified and declared wanted. The Specialists for the Investigation of Serious Crimes at the Lezha DVP, in cooperation with the Kurbin Police Commissariat and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, have declared wanted the citizen KN, 47 years old, resident of Sandzhak, Kurbin, suspected of being the perpetrator of the gunshot wounding of the citizen VP, 22 years old, resident of the same village.

According to the investigation, the 47-year-old is suspected of having shot the 22-year-old in the leg, injuring him. The young man is out of danger for his life. The investigative actions have resulted in the fact that, after being injured, the perpetrator left the scene of the incident, taking the 22-year-old's vehicle at gunpoint. During the examination of the scene, the police seized two shell casings as material evidence.

The Police Services continue their intensive work to apprehend the perpetrator and find the vehicle taken by him, while investigations, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, are continuing to fully document the event. The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office for the criminal offenses of "Intentional Serious Injury", "Armed Theft" and "Unauthorized Possession of Weapons, Explosive Weapons and Ammunition".
