Prime Minister Edi Rama took a dig at the mayor of Selenica, Nertil Bellaj, who has openly opposed the socialist majority's proposal to merge the municipality he leads. During his speech, at the fourth edition of "Vajza Fest", Rama said ironically that the mayor has brought salty sea water to the Labëria mountains.

Mayor Nertil Bellaj expressed reservations regarding his stance on the non-merger of the Municipality of Selenica, however, he mentioned the glorious history of Labëria and the need to inherit what the ancestors left behind, an indirect way of what he had stated earlier.

The Vajzë village festival was also attended by the President of the Supreme Court, Sokol Sadushi, to whom Rama said he could not refuse the invitation to participate, unlike the other 3 years.
