The show "TakFak", in News24, resumed this Wednesday the "Vetting" investigation into the Regional Tax Director of Tirana, Erilinda Lala, and her husband Taulant Godroli, who are suspected of being the hidden owners of a resort in Qerret and a hotel in Borsh, which they did not declare in the asset self-declaration form, issued by the High Inspectorate for Declaration and Control of Assets and Conflict of Interest.
This institution announces that the ILDKPI has begun investigations into the assets of the Tirana Regional Tax Director, Erilinda Lala, and her husband, Taulant Godroli, following denunciations from the show "Vetting".
This official information is confirmed by "Vetting" correspondence with the information office at HIDAKKI.
We are no longer in an ordinary verification, but in an investigation where any asset declaration by Director Erilinda Lala will be confronted with the failure to declare the company "2D Construction 2025" formerly Gea Construction and its financial resources.
In fact, "Vetting" has confirmed that Erilinda Lala has not declared the donation of the shares she had in this company and that she and her husband Taulant Godroli may be behind it.
These indications come from the fact that one day after donating the shares of the company "2D Construction 2025" to Marsida Dedej, her husband Godroli paid a fine for the company at the counter, while he was neither the owner nor the authorized person.
The law obliges high-ranking officials to be transparent about every penny and every asset that affects income, so any discrepancy between official declarations in Tirana could lead to the immediate dismissal or criminal prosecution of Erilinda Lala.
There are strong indications that Director Lala and her husband may have hidden interests in the giant resort in Qerret, where the company '2D Construction 2025' has obtained a construction permit on a plot of land that was transferred to the Territorial Development Agency in violation of the law.
Erilinda Lala has not declared the NIPTs and business names that she has secured, about 40 thousand euros in income in several months of 2023. The other problem is that Taulant Godroli has not declared the company that he once owned, as well as his role in another company ALKO IMPEX CONSTRUCTION (formerly KLEDOR ALBANIA-09).
According to lawyer Redi Ramaj, in any case where there are situations of non-declaration or false declaration, a warning or fine may be imposed initially.
"Then, if there are serious violations, this institution is obliged to present its findings, mainly for false declarations, to the area where the property or official is located," lawyer Ramaj told "Vetting". In 2009, Taulant Godroli would establish the company Electral shpk as the sole shareholder and a few years later he would become the administrator of a concession company, HEC Hotolisht, which in 2015 would win the contract from the Ministry of Energy and Industry for the construction, operation and transfer of the Hotolisht hydropower plants with an investment value of 567 million lek.
The problem is related to the fact that Godroli did not declare on the HIDACCI form that he was an administrator in this concession company from 2015 to 2017.
He even hid the deed of transfer of shares of "Electral" shpk, as this was not declared in the initial asset declaration form as a person related to Director Erilinda Lala.
If the hotel in Borsh has raised questions, it seems that work may have also begun in the Qerret area in Kavaja for the company "2D Construction 2025". Images from the ground show construction and interventions in this area, proving that construction in violation of the law is becoming a dangerous standard and no one can do anything.
