High temperatures and dry weather conditions have caused a large number of fires across Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to a report from the Federal Civil Protection Administration, numerous fires have been recorded since yesterday, and an "Air Tractor" aircraft has also been deployed in Mostar.

Mostar city fire departments extinguished fires in Slipčić and Miljković, where grass and low vegetation were burning. In Čapljina, a fire was registered in the town of Čeljevo, while Cazin firefighters extinguished fires in two locations.

In the Una-Sana canton area, a fire broke out in Velika Kladuša, in Mërcelj, where grass was burned.

Fires have also been recorded in Živinice, Kakanj, Busovac, Vakuf i Poshtem and Gruda.

The competent authorities call on citizens to exercise maximum caution and not light fires in open spaces.
