Two young girls, just 9 and 11 years old, entered the sea to bathe on a summer day, unaware that they would experience the last moments of their lives.

On Friday afternoon, June 19, Tales Beach in Lezha became the scene of a tragedy that shocked public opinion and touched everyone's hearts. The waves of the sea claimed two lives, leaving behind immense pain, tears and many question marks.

In the studio of the show "Me Zemër të Hapur", by author and moderator Evis Ahmeti, on News 24, the parents have made a touching confession of the great pain they are experiencing, that of the most serious loss that can happen to a family. They are also parents of three other children and live in extremely difficult economic conditions, facing extreme poverty.

Amid strong emotions and unquenchable pain, they will tell of the day that changed their lives forever.

This is a shocking story, a story that requires reflection, but above all a human story about two children who left this world too early.

"The minors were my aunt's daughters. The daughter begged me a lot that day to go. I had never let her go before, it was the first time."

The parents of the 9-year-old and the other minor are in shock. The girls entered without warning, the girl's aunt was with her.

"When it happened, I was in Durrës and they informed me that the girls were not well. My sister-in-law was with her husband," he said.

In addition to the serious spiritual wound they bear, the family also faces great economic difficulties and inadequate living conditions. Amid their deep pain, comes an appeal for help, in support of the three children who continue their lives in the face of great challenges.
