In the lobby of the Korça Theater, tributes were held this Thursday in honor of the well-known actor Zhani Ziçishti, who passed away leaving behind a rich artistic legacy.

Dozens of citizens from Korça and Devolli, friends, family and art lovers, took part in the ceremony to bid farewell to one of the most beloved figures on the stage.

Amidst the wreaths of flowers and silence in the theater lobby, the artistic community bowed respectfully before the portrait of the actor who for decades gave voice and soul to his roles. Ziçishti masterfully performed in over 16 roles in feature films, remaining in the public's memory as an actor with finesse and depth of interpretation.

The mayor of Devoll, Eduard Duro, was present at the tribute. His colleagues from the stage also shared memories and appreciation for the actor's figure.

His friend, Professor Arjan Kallço, also spoke about his human dimension and contribution to cultural life. The tributes were organized by the Korça Art and Culture Center, while the director of the institution praised Ziçishti's role in the history of Korça theater.

Korça and Devolli said goodbye today to an actor who lived for art and remained unforgettable in the memory of the Albanian scene.
