The Telegraph has published audio related to the attack that wounded Mojtaba Khamenei in the leg. According to reports, Mojtaba Khamenei was targeted in the same attack that killed his father, but was outside when the missiles hit the palace.
Later, the chief of protocol for Ali Khamenei's office, Mazaher Hosseini, revealed that Mojtaba Khamenei was wounded in the leg during the attacks, while his wife and son were killed instantly and his brother-in-law was beheaded.
In the recording published by The Telegraph, Hossein can be heard saying: "It was God's will that Mojtaba went out into the courtyard to do something and then came back. He was outside climbing up when the building was hit by a rocket.
