The Chairman of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted through a video published on social networks, asking SPAK to send to the Parliament the request for the lifting of the immunity and the arrest of former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.

Bardhi has described the situation as "Day 2" and has listed three charges that, according to him, are related to the investigations against Balluk: corruption, money laundering, and concealment of assets.

According to the head of the DP parliamentary group, these are three new accusations, while recalling previous statements by Prime Minister Edi Rama regarding the Balluk issue.

Bardhi claims that earlier violations of equality in eight tenders, with a total value of 1.2 billion euros, were not considered sufficient to support the removal of her immunity.

"Now that Edi Rama's alibi has also fallen, why doesn't SPAK bring to the Assembly the request to lift the immunity and arrest Belinda Balluku?", says Bardhi.

He also raises questions about the assets that, according to him, were discovered during the investigations.

In his reaction, Bardhi closes with a political reference, asking if the "Valamar Alliance" is stronger than the law.
