Alternative medicine doctor Ylli Merja has shown what the dividing line is between stress and anxiety. In a conversation for the show 'Kjo Javë' on News24, with journalist Nisida Tufa, gave some advice on how to overcome a panic attack.
He also emphasized that men are more prone to being affected by stress. "If a man is crossing at a traffic light, and has the right to cross, but a car comes, the man escapes.
He says; "how it went and endangered my life. In these moments, the entire system is activated. The threshold to distinguish stress from anxiety is the fact that stress is a daily nervous overload. While anxiety is unnecessary stress, I fear for my life that this or that will happen to me. Unseen details, unseen scenes. If in stress we have an alarm that lasts a few minutes, in anxiety it is a false alarm. When you are depressed, you separate yourself from the world and distance yourself. This depressed person is differentiating himself from life. At these moments he should join others. In children, the symptoms are milder. Whoever has stress, has an increased heart rate. He has a burning ability in the body, which describes everything. The one who has a panic attack is at a higher level. He is in a useless anxiety and useless panic. Breathing as if he can't find air.", said Merja.
But can a panic attack be fatal? Merja said that this cannot happen. "He should open some propolis, or a bottle of perfume, and this will lead to an improvement in the condition. These people should read as much as possible. To break away from this state of anxiety."
