During intensive checks in the territory, from the ground and air, through the use of drones, as well as based on information obtained operationally, the services of the Mirditë Police Commissariat, the Kurbin Police Commissariat and the Narcotics Investigation Section at the Lezha Police Department, struck 3 cases of cultivation of narcotic plants.

As a result of police actions:

* The services of the Mirdita Police Commissariat arrested citizen JR, 21 years old, resident of Durrës, in flagrante delicto, after during checks carried out in the village of Sheshaj, Mirdita, he was caught taking care of 222 suspected narcotic Cannabis Sativa plants, cultivated in this area.

* The Narcotics Investigation Section at the Lezha Police Department, in collaboration with the Crime Investigation Specialists of the Kurbin Police Commissariat, arrested citizen DN, 47 years old, resident of Laç Village, Kurbin, in flagrante delicto, after he was caught taking care of 151 suspected narcotic Cannabis Sativa plants.

* The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Kurbin Police Commissariat arrested citizen VM, 44 years old, in flagrante delicto, after 63 suspected narcotic Cannabis Sativa plants were found in the "Rrahu i Pashas" neighborhood, Laç, which she was suspected of caring for.

The narcotic plants found were destroyed by burning.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Lezha, for further action.
