Anis Mehmeti has started his adventure at Ipswich well, with the Albanian striker giving good performances. In an interview given after the match against Derby, Mehmeti stressed that he has found the right team where he will be able to showcase his skills.
Among other things, the 25-year-old said that Ipsiwch is a team worthy of the Premier League.
"We know that Pride Park is a tough place and we had to bounce back after the last two results. We did that. The boys were persistent and I'm happy we got the three points. I'm really enjoying my time here. I came with the ambition to go up a division with this great club. So I'm enjoying my time here and taking each day as it comes, enjoying my football and trying to contribute to the victories.
"We are confident, the boys have done this before. We just take things day by day as they come. In my opinion, we are probably the strongest team in this championship. So we have every opportunity to do what we need to do, which is to win games and hopefully achieve our objective at the end of the season," said Mehmeti.
