The Albanian striker provided the assist for Manfred Ugalde, who scored Spartak's first goal in the match held in Kaliningrad. After the match, Daku described the triumph as very important for the team, emphasizing the difficulty of facing Baltika on its own field.

"Emotions? They are always good when you win. We knew before the match that it was very difficult to play against Baltika at home. For us it is a very important victory. We just have to win. I want to win even if I don't score myself", declared Daku. The Albanian striker also spoke about the cooperation with Ugalde, with whom he is creating a duo in the offensive department of Spartak. Daku said that there is a good football understanding between them, despite the fact that they have not played together for a long time. "I know Ugalde very well and I understand the way he plays.

I feel like we've been playing together for three or four years. We have a good football understanding. We need to play a little more together and everything will be fine," said the 28-year-old. Daku also spoke about leaving Rubin Kazan, the club where he spent three years before transferring to Spartak. He admitted that the separation was not easy, considering the connections he had made during his stay in Kazan. "We all know how many things happened to me at Rubin. I have a lot of friends there and I spent three years there, so it was difficult to leave.

But now I'm at Spartak and I just want to play here," said Daku. After four weeks of the championship, Spartak has collected nine points and is ranked third in the Russian Premier League table. The Moscow team will play their next match on August 23 at home against Zenit. Daku joined Spartak this summer after leaving Rubin. In three seasons with the club from Kazan, the Albanian striker played 93 matches in all competitions, scoring 38 goals and providing 13 assists.
