A 34-year-old man has been arrested by Tirana police, accused of violating house arrest while defrauding a woman by taking money from her under the pretense of finding her a house to rent. Official police sources said that the citizen with the initials AG, 34 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested.

Tirana/The police operation codenamed "Implication" is finalized. He broke the security measure and deceived, presenting himself as a real estate agent, the 34-year-old was arrested, who was driving with a sports pistol, in a vehicle, and possessed a pair of stolen license plates.

The sporting weapon and license plates were seized. As a result of the rapid administration of a citizen's report that she had been deceived by a citizen who introduced herself as a real estate agent, and for this reason had given her a large sum of money to find her an apartment to rent, specialists from the Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Section, in cooperation with the services of the "Eagle" Special Force, finalized the "Implication" operation.

During the operation, citizen AG, 34 years old, resident of Tirana, was identified, arrested and handcuffed.

From the search of the vehicle in which citizen AG was traveling on "Kastriotët" street, at the moment of the arrest, 1 sporting weapon (pistol) was found that was being held without a permit, while from the search of this citizen's apartment, a pair of license plates were found that, upon verification, turned out to be stolen.
Further verifications revealed that the 34-year-old was currently under house arrest for the criminal offense of "Domestic Violence."

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
