The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, declared that the Constitutional Court's decision to suspend Belinda Balluku was in fact a suspension for Prime Minister Edi Rama. In a media appearance, Berisha said that Lubia is a 'squeezed lemon', while adding that Rama wants to be protected by a law.

"The peaceful uprising does not stop. We are convinced that Edi Rama will not surrender himself. He knows as clear as daylight that Lubia's suspension means his suspension. Lubia is Edi Rama's prestonomous. I do not feel sorry for Lubia, because she belongs to the team of bad starts. There has been a current in pre-psychological literature since the 70s that also had an expression of reality; lemalpartie - bad starts. These were groups in search of emptiness and absurdity that eliminate all normality and ethics. I asked one of Rama's lawyers in Parliament, are you ready to go visit Lubi Balluku in prison? He did not answer me. He did not say anything! Lubia is a squeezed lemon. He knows that the annulment is only Edi Rama. And he wants to save them with a law, but he will not save them with anything. You will not save them with anything. I salute the heroes of the protest," he said.
