The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted sharply to the statements of the Serbian minister that have caused debates in the Albanian and regional public opinion. Berisha said that her statement has been condemned by the opposition and demanded that she be declared "non grata" and a lawsuit be filed.
In a statement to the media, Berisha accused the Albanian government of remaining silent on the Serbian official's positions, describing this as a position linked to Belgrade.
He claimed that as long as the Serbian minister continues to hold her position, she represents the positions of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić. Berisha also criticized the Albanian government's reaction, accusing it of a lack of reaction to the Serbian minister's statements.
"I condemn the vassal and shameful silence of the Albanian government towards the Belgrade minister," said Berisha, adding that according to him, the government has maintained harsh stances towards citizens and politicians from the region, but has not reacted towards Serbian officials.
Berisha concluded the statement by accusing the Rama government of a policy that, according to him, is oriented towards Belgrade.
"Her statement has been condemned with the greatest force by a statement submitted by Floriana Garo, we requested that she be declared non grata and a lawsuit be filed."

I condemn the vassal and shameful silence of the Albanian government towards the Belgrade minister, while declaring citizens of Prizren who participate in the protest non grata and MPs of the Republic of Macedonia, in the most shameful act, not declaring non grata, even the Foreign Minister, the shame of all times, who does not say a word about the monster minister.
"This proves the true face of the Tirana regime, a vassal attitude towards Belgrade," he said.
