DP MP Belind Këlliçi has praised SPAK's investigations into the case of Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, stating that there is a series of evidence and facts proving her corrupt dealings.

Këlliçi said that he joins those democrats who have also supported the actions of prosecutor Dritan Prençi after he has done a job worthy of being praised.

"To present evidence or justify their request to the Mandates Council in the Assembly to lift immunity and allow Balluk's suspension, SPAK has provided as much evidence as it thinks the Mandates Council should have. And with what we have seen in the file, in addition to communications that are factual, she calls her subordinates who have testified against her and threatens them to change their testimonies," said Këlliçi.

Belind Kelliçi: We are dealing with a process that has so far made clear that there is not enough evidence from the prosecution, that I can have a lot of criticism for SPAK, but I join those who have also supported the actions of prosecutor Dritan Prençi, who for years has been publicly criticized by me for slowing down the investigation into the Tirana incinerator, but in the case of Balluk, he has done a commendable job.

To present evidence or justify their request to the Mandates Council in the Assembly to lift immunity and allow Balluk's suspension, SPAK has provided as much evidence as it thinks the Mandates Council should have. And with what we have seen in the file, in addition to the communications that are factual, she calls her subordinates who have testified against her and threatens them to change their testimonies.

From all the data we are dealing with a flagrant corruption case, with an official caught stealing who threatens subordinates and their legal rights, SPAK says that I want to suspend her because she can spoil the evidence by interfering with the protocol, until she goes to court. With the fall of Balluk, his alibi falls, so he is setting a precedent until the day he is judged, to my knowledge, the Tirana incinerator file is under investigation, the 8% bonus he gave to a company with his signature that was founded 8 months later, the EcoPark file that is in SPAK.

Rama is setting a precedent that does not allow Balluk's suspension from office.
