An Albanian citizen, who lives in Italy, has traveled to Albania to join the protest, saying that her demands are related to the future of Albanians and their children.
She stated that, despite being born in Italy, she feels Albanian and wants her children to have the opportunity to live and speak Albanian in their own country.
"We protest for Albanians and for those of us who were forced to emigrate. I was born in Italy, but I have Albanian heart and blood. Why shouldn't we live here and my children not speak Albanian?" she said.
The citizen said that she and other people came from Italy specifically to participate in the protest.
"We came from Italy just to protest. There is no security here, no hospitals, no police, nothing," she declared.
She also raised concerns about the way protesters are treated, opposing violence against citizens who take to the streets to express their dissatisfaction.
"Why are they raping them because they protest?" the citizen asked.
