One of the activists stated that he is protesting to realize the dream of an Albania where the citizen triumphs and will realize it.
He mocked Socialist MPs and Prime Minister Edi Rama for their statements against the protest.
"Today I feel proud because I see a people who have come out for 46 days without fear, expressing their indignation with this 36-year-old democracy. I know because and because I am young, unlike Zegjineja, I know how to read, unlike Gonxha, I do not insult anyone, and unlike Rama, I accept opinions that are different and contrary to and different from many socialist deputies.
I have a dream of a European Albania where the citizen triumphs, but I wake up with nightmares from the faces of the pseudo-democratic politicians of the last 35 years.
Dreams are only when we sleep because we wake up and make the dream a reality.
I see a strength in the Albanian people that I have never seen before, you find the will every morning to fight against corruption and injustice.
You go to work, support your families, we keep these people on their feet. We need to remind them that we give them power and we will drag them down.
If you blackmail us, we will raise our voices so loud that it will ring in your head.
Come to the protest because your dignity has been violated, how shameful this is because we are in a democracy and you should listen to opposing opinions. We have not made any progress, we are in a fascist dictatorship.
Even when the numbers are against us, we do not give up, because we know that history does not count those who surrendered, but those who chose to fight and march as we are doing.
"I have a message for all those who are not here: If you are a parent who has sent your children to the streets, come, if an administrative employee is worth more than your salary, if you are a pensioner worth more than 5000 lek, if you are a patron, you have been manipulated and think that the solution is to serve the government, but I promise you that there is a more beautiful and greener world," he said.
