Democratic MP Edi Paloka spoke today without gloves, while pointing out some of the problems within the DP. He said this in front of journalist Nisida Tufa on the show 'This Week' on News24 that often his voice has not been heard.
I have always proposed in the DP. I have not always been listened to. It would have been good to have been listened to in some cases, even with the doctor. It has not been agreed that it is different every time. I have been for open lists. Rama would never give it to them. Open lists would be a solution for the DP and the opposition. I opposed the emigrant vote.
Focusing on 3 points that need to change in the opposition, he said; "A lot of media was involved with that guy who spoke to Berisha. He told the government that being in the opposition means being an enemy of the government. If we had a different system in the DP, maybe we should return to being an electoral party. Not just because Edi Paloka is a founder, but he may be tired. There are others who are very eager to get involved in the elections. There were some cities where we couldn't find counters. In cases where we are not in good conditions, the council meets. Yesterday and the day before yesterday, a draft was also released where the analysis will be held."
When asked if the analysis in the DP is done after the Balluku scandal, he said: "this was the moment. The OSCE-ODIHI report was received. The analysis is not to attack each other. Often those who say; why don't you do an analysis?! If we enter the analysis with this mind to attack each other, that is not the goal. We will not enter with the idea that as soon as we get our hands on it, we will tear it to pieces. I know the problems within the DP. About its structure, reorganization. We must change the way we behave within ourselves and towards Rama. We cannot continue to behave with Rama as a Finnish party. He is the head of a narco-state, a dictator."
Is there a target for when the analysis within the DP should be completed?
I don't know if there are any deadlines, but I don't think it will take long. The analysis should be done by the entire structure, we shouldn't see it as: Let's get together and curse X or Y.
