Albania expects to learn its opponent in the World Cup Play-offs, in the draw on Thursday. Renowned journalist, Artan Hoxha, on the show "Log", on News 24, showed his preferences for the potential opponents of the Rossoneri at this stage. Hoxha says that Scotland would be better to avoid, while he sees Ukraine as a passable rival.
"I want to beat an opponent we've faced in recent years. We've never beaten Ukraine. We've never beaten the Czech Republic, but in the end we beat them here and drew there. The Czech Republic has improved now.
We can handle Slovakia, they are a very volatile team. We are interested in having some of these eastern countries in the second pot.
It's better to play against Ukraine, because they're not playing at home. They can't play like countries, they have some problems, they're not at their best.
"Scotland? It should be avoided," said Hoxha.
