"Në Shënjestër" with author Klodiana Lala, brought new details from the SPAK computer hacking case on this Tuesday's show, where 3 people are accused, including the former Director General of Prisons, Agim Ismaili.

According to SPAK's file data, Ismaili said that the materials were brought to him by one of the accused, Zambak Gjoni, who was involved in several investigations conducted against citizen Damian Gjiknuri and did not discuss it with other people.

Agim Ismaili, a person under investigation for this matter, said that he treated the materials that Zambak Gjoni brought him with humor.

But he testified that he did not believe that Zambak had accessed or corrupted people at SPAK to obtain information.

Meanwhile, he admitted that he had distributed these materials to third parties.

But even though he tried to justify that it was not related to the hacking of SPAK prosecutors' emails, the investigative group raised reasonable suspicion that Agim Ismaili had a special interest in these investigative materials. This was also noted in his request to direct the searches in the name of Justice Minister Ulsi Manja.

Orientation which he does through Zambak Gjoni.

The latter then asks Arnold Rrokaj for this honor. For his part, he had already been able to access the emails of some of the SPAK prosecutors.

As I remember, the first material was about sms or conversations found or intercepted, from the file of citizen Arben Ahmetaj. Following that, he sent me some other investigative materials, but in 'Word' format, such as a detention order for a citizen whose name I do not remember, investigative material for citizen Damian Gjiknuri, which I remember was a report, belonging to the year 2024, another investigative material in 'Word' format for citizen KA

As well as the house search report, for some citizens with the surname Çopja, it seems to me that for citizen Franc Çopja.

There was also another material, which were 2 or 3 letters addressed to the Austrian state or other states, I don't remember well.

Likewise, according to Zambak Gjoni, Arnold Rrokaj gave him a link and a password, which he told him could be used to access some intercepts of Sky platform communications.

A password that Zambak Gjoni said he tried but was unable to enter.

Meanwhile, Zambak Gjoni had also sent this information to several of his friends and two journalists.

But among his friends, the one with whom John kept constant contact was Agim Ismaili.

The person who is under investigation with them today.

Against whom the name of the person against whom investigations are being conducted has been registered, for the criminal offenses of 'Illegal interception of computer data', committed in the special form of cooperation with that structured criminal group.

Who in his testimony admitted to knowing Zambak Gjoni and the fact that he had come into contact with these investigative materials through him. But Agim Ismaili denied having any initial knowledge of the importance of these materials.

"I know Zambak Gjoni, as I have had a social relationship with him since 2019. Since the time I started working at the General Directorate of Prisons, where he also worked.

Over time, we had a vacancy in the Vlora prison, and I appointed him director of this prison.

When I started working at IKMT, he came to my office and asked for my help to activate him at work. And so he started working at IKMT. After I left the job, we continued communicating via WhatsApp.

One night, some time ago, Zambak brought me some material which I shared because I thought it was news that had come out of the media and didn't think much about it.

Then I read this material and it was about several investigations conducted against citizen Damian Gjiknuri and I did not discuss it with other people.

Agim Ismaili said that he treated the materials that Zambak Gjoni brought him with humor.

Meanwhile, the investigative group also considered many of the testimonies of the persons to whom the investigative materials had been distributed, from Zambak Gjoni and Agim Ismaili himself.

Among them were three of John's social connections, who communicated with each other through a shared WhatsApp group.

Evidence

With Zambak Gjon, we are a close social circle, with whom we have also created a WhatsApp group, where he has sent some information to this group, which we have seen or read, but have not sent to third parties.

But in fact, Zambak Gjoni and Agim Ismaili's increased curiosity about investigative materials does not begin with the hacking of SPAK in February by Arnold Rrokaj.

But even earlier than is seen in the testimonies of other social connections, who have repeatedly received similar materials from the accused persons.

"Thinking that there could be criminal proceedings in the investigation and for senior officials regularly discussed in the media, in my communications with citizen Agim Ismaili, I also said these words.

I don't remember, but I may have asked Arnold if he had any materials on citizen Ulo (Ulsi Manja).

"Materials that I also passed on to Agim Ismail, with whom we constantly shared information with each other," Zambak Gjoni's testimony states.

Agim Ismali himself denied the charges of illegal wiretapping.

While the conversations between him and Zambak Gjoni, and especially his request for Ulsi Manja's name, he described them as a joke between them.

Meanwhile, the investigative group believes that Agim Ismaili, due to his dismissal from the position of General Director of Prisons with the signature of the Minister of Justice, after the control exercised by the Supreme State Audit, and the abuses found, has decided to find incriminating evidence for his superior, directing Zambak Gjoni to search SPAK emails hacked by Arnold Rrokaj, for the name of Ulsi Manja.

Investigation File

Regarding the conversation with the content: 'I told this friend to dig me up at SPAK, there's nothing for Ulo' and the response that: 'It would be awesome', Agim Ismaili explained that: '...I always thought that there might have been some journalist who had the opportunity to access this information. I also knew citizen Arnold Rrokaj and if that were the case, Zambak would have told me that he had gotten it from Arnold'.

Regarding the above, it is interesting to note that the reasons for the dismissal and finding of violations by both the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution and the Audit Directorate at the Ministry of Justice were assessed as subjective and untrue by the investigated Agim Ismaili.

What clearly proves the motive or personal reasons of the investigated Agim Ismaili for searching for or finding 'possibly incriminating' materials, in charge of citizen Ulsi Manja, acting former Minister of Justice.

Based on this information, SPAK has filed charges against the three suspects of illegal wiretapping within the framework of a structured criminal group. SPAK says that from the entirety of the investigations conducted up to this stage, based on the evidence obtained during the preliminary investigations, the statements of the suspected citizens, as well as after the legal analysis of the administered documentation, the criminal fact has been documented that citizens Arnold Rrokaj, Zambak Gjoni and Agim Ismaili, in collaboration among themselves, in the specific form of cooperation, that of a structured criminal group, have illegally intercepted, by technical means, computer data from/or within a computer system (emails of SPAK prosecutors.

But can this be considered a full SPAK investigation?

Could 3 officials alone hack SPAK, the institution that had begun investigating politicians?

Are there any political figures involved in this scandal?

Are the documents mentioned in the indictment the only ones that have been managed to be obtained from the computers of the special prosecutors, or are other documents against people in politics, business or crime in unauthorized hands?

And or do they serve as a form of blackmail or extortion?

Meanwhile, other important systems related to national security have also been hacked in the past.

And in the end, did Agim Ismaili tell the truth, or are there other people hiding behind him, even within the ranks of politics, who are turning this leak of investigative files into a kind of witch hunt?
