Tearfully, Kristi shared how this event has taught her to love people more, to give them space to express their feelings in their own way, and to cherish every moment with them. Even though she misses her father during the best days of her life, Kristi said she feels him close to her, like a blessing that accompanies her from above, a feeling that has changed her perspective even in her relationship with her partner.
Rudina Magjistari: Kristi, I want to dwell on another event of this year. I want to say that 2025 has been a year with very strong events. At the beginning of the year, you had to face a very difficult situation in your life, with the loss of your father.
Kristi Janku: One of those moments that really has no explanation and you come to truly understand that people should be loved, expressed to them and stayed with them for as long as we are. In 14 days, my life turned upside down and I think that this is a difficult process that a person continues and lives. During these happy moments, I think that he is looking at me and is always with me in my heart. But during all the moments I say 'ahh if only he were here with me'.
Rudina Magjistari: You would love it! It's very natural for him to be present at these beautiful events in your life, but he gives the blessing from above.
Kristi Janku: Losing my father has actually made me appreciate the way people love. I can say that one of the things that I occasionally point out to my dad was that I wanted him to love me in my own way, to express it to me, to tell me, while he has always been the person who expressed it to me with actions. After losing him, I really realized that we need to let people be free, to express their love for us, in the way they see it. This has given me a different perspective on my partner, because they are like two drops of water in this regard.
