The elimination in the semi-finals of the Turkish Cup has made Besiktas' season practically closed, as the team cannot do better in the championship to get closer to the teams higher up in the standings. Thus, the time has come for important decisions and one of them has to do with Kristjan Asllani.

According to the Turkish daily Sabah, the Istanbul club has decided not to exercise the purchase clause for the five players it has loaned out and could sign permanently this summer. One of them is the Albanian national team midfielder, who was acquired from Inter in January.

From the beginning, there were many doubts about Asllan due to the high clause that Inter set, around 12 million euros. But now, with the end of a trophyless season and the maximum qualification in the Conference League, the Turkish club does not see it reasonable to pay such a figure for the footballer.

Therefore, it is expected that Asllani will end his short experience at Besiktas in two weeks and return to Italy to Inter, awaiting a transfer to another club as there is no room for him at the Blues.
