In a public statement, Zhupa denounces the destruction of natural landscapes in areas such as the Bay of Manastir and Palasa, warning that uncritical construction endangers cultural heritage, biodiversity and the sustainable tourism model. She emphasizes that the protection of nature and public interest is a condition for the long-term development of the country and calls on citizens to react through democratic protest in defense of Albania.

The destruction of cultural heritage and protected areas can never be called development for Albania. Just look at these views from the Bay of Manastir and Palasa: limitless concreting, which destroys what makes our country unique and harms sustainable tourism, nature and the quality of life of citizens.

Concrete does not produce oxygen. Man cannot live without oxygen, it's that simple to understand. Concrete does not protect biodiversity, it does not replace the forests, the sea and the landscapes that we have inherited and that we must leave to future generations.

When the prime minister treats the country as personal property and decisions are made with the logic of "where I want, when I want, how I want," then public interest is lost and arbitrariness prevails.

This is bad for the country because it destroys common assets, violates our identity, damages the long-term economy, and creates a development model that favors narrow interests at the expense of citizens.

It is for this reason that protest remains the democratic path through which Albanians seek to protect the future of their country. When institutions do not listen to the voice of citizens, the voice of citizens is heard in the square. The protection of nature, cultural heritage and public interest is not an obstacle to development but is a condition for development to be fair, sustainable and for the benefit of all Albanians.
