DP MP Belind Këlliçi has accused the government of using the European integration process for political propaganda, while according to him there is a lack of transparency and accountability for citizens. In a reaction after the session held in the Foreign Affairs Committee, Këlliçi stated that the discussions did not serve the integration process, but rather attacks on the opposition and covering up the government's failures.
"Today's session in the Foreign Affairs Committee served to understand the government's truth regarding integration, which is based on two elements; propaganda and attacks and slander against the opposition," he declared.
According to the Democratic MP, citizens are not being told the truth about the delays in the negotiation process with the European Union, especially for the group chapter related to the rule of law.
Këlliçi also leveled accusations against chief negotiator Majlinda Dhuka, claiming that her reporting did not bring transparency to the public.
He linked the delays in the integration process to the decisions of the majority in the Assembly, accusing Prime Minister Edi Rama of protecting corrupt affairs and obstructing justice, thus referring to the "Balluku" case. "Integration is being held hostage by Edi Rama. His corruption and protection with extra immunity before justice are acts that the EU does not accept," said Këlliçi.

A session that helps propaganda, not integration!
Today's session in the Foreign Affairs Committee served to understand the government's truth regarding integration, which is based on two elements: propaganda and attacks and slander against the opposition.
With propaganda, facts are hidden and transparency is not achieved, perpetuating the great electoral lie that feeds the poorest citizens of Europe.
And as always, to cover up failures, someone must be found and punished, as Edi Rama is doing with the Opposition.
Even the chief negotiator Dhuka, who was at this "accountability" session today, has no way of getting out of the scheme of the government and the prime minister. In the report submitted and in the explanations she gave there, the public and citizens do not learn the truth they need to know.
Why is the approval of the first chapter group related to the rule of law being postponed indefinitely?!
This postponement of the decision in Brussels began precisely when on March 12, Edi Rama, with 82 cards in the Assembly, decided to defend his and Belind Balluku's affairs before the courts.
Edi Rama is asked about this.
Dhuka is asked about this.
Citizens want to know that these are the facts, the rest are lies.
The answer is the same. The Opposition is to blame!!!
With today's session, the chief negotiator added more propaganda to the process, and brought neither transparency, nor accountability, nor respect for the public interest.
Integration is being held hostage by Edi Rama. His corruption and protection with extra immunity from justice are acts that the EU does not accept.
And for this he bears the blame and responsibility, even historical!
