Architect Alban Eftimi was questioned today for about five hours at the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK), in connection with the investigations into the villa in Palasa, which was seized a few days ago in the context of the case against former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku. Earlier, his brother, Olsi Eftimi, also left the premises of the prosecution.

The name of their studio "Atelier 4" has been included in the SPAK file after the seizure of another villa in the south of the country. The subject of the investigation are several e-mail communications related to the furnishing of the property. In an e-mail dated September 14, 2020, Alban Eftimi informed Balluku of the progress of the interventions in the villa, mentioning the construction of an "infinity" pool, whirlpools, suites and the use of "teak" wood in the exterior.
