Donald Trump's extension of the ceasefire "doesn't mean anything," says Mahdi Mohammadi, an advisor to the speaker of the Iranian Parliament.
As he claims, "the losing side cannot impose conditions," while adding that the continuation of the blockade "is no different from bombing" and must be met with a military response.
At the same time, he believes that extending the ceasefire is a "tactic to buy time" in anticipation of a surprise attack.
“It is time for Iran to take the initiative,” he notes.
