The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that it has launched a cruise missile attack on a facility it describes as strategic American infrastructure in Bahrain, claiming to have hit Amazon's main data center in the country.

In a statement published by the semi-official Iranian news agency Tasnim, the IRGC said the operation was carried out by its Space Force and that the target was “Amazon’s central data infrastructure,” which it considers part of the US’s strategic interests. According to Tehran, the attack was carried out in retaliation for recent US attacks on civilian infrastructure in Iran’s Darhovin region.

However, there has been no independent confirmation that the data center was hit or destroyed. Neither Amazon nor Bahraini authorities have issued an official statement confirming the claims or providing information on any possible damage. The IRGC's claims have not been independently verified, and similar Revolutionary Guard reports have been disputed or denied by local authorities and other sources in the past during heightened tensions in the region.
