The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, reacted in a media conference to accusations about his age, calling it a valuable advantage in the campaign.
"My age is an invaluable asset, as I have the experience and knowledge necessary to transform Albania. I invite Rama to the debate, let's see who shows signs of leakage," Berisha declared.
He stressed that he has provided clear evidence of improving economic conditions, citing the doubling of salaries and the increase in pensions during his mandate. According to Berisha, his program aims to eradicate extreme poverty and transform Albania in a short period of time, comparing his achievements with the unfinished business of the current government.
