Lebanese state media reported that Israel had carried out airstrikes in southern Lebanon and ordered the evacuation of residents. Residents in 20 settlements were ordered to leave.
According to the same sources, one person was killed in the city of Marrakeh, in the Tyre district of Lebanon, as a result of the attacks.

The attacks come shortly after Iran's foreign minister said a deal to end the fighting with the US was close. The deal also envisions an end to the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon, Seyed Abbas Araghchi also said.
Israel's prime minister had previously warned that his country would attack Hezbollah if the latter continued its attacks against northern Israel.
Araghchi also said the deal includes the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and told state television that it includes the lifting of the US blockade on Iran. However, he said talks on Iran's nuclear program would begin later.

US officials have confirmed some of the details of the deal, saying that economic benefits for Iran will depend on Tehran fulfilling its obligations.
Previous reports from the US have suggested that Lebanon may not be part of this agreement, with Iran.
The war began with US and Israeli attacks across Iran on February 28, prompting Iran to attack Israel and US-allied states in the Persian Gulf, as well as effectively closing the Strait of Hormuz, a key shipping route for the world's oil and liquefied natural gas.
