Israel has sent Iron Dome missile defense systems and personnel to the United Arab Emirates to help bolster the country's air defenses at a time of high regional tensions, according to statements by US Ambassador Mike Huckabee.

Mike Huckabee, speaking at a conference in Tel Aviv, said that cooperation between the Abraham Accords countries is bringing concrete benefits in the security field. “I would like to express my gratitude to the United Arab Emirates, the first member of the Abraham Accords. Just look at the benefits. Israel just sent them Iron Dome systems and personnel to help them operate,” he said.

The Iron Dome system is used to intercept short-range missiles and is a key component of Israel's air defenses. According to the statements cited, Iran has targeted the United Arab Emirates more often than any other country in the region since the recent escalation of tensions in the Middle East, continuing attacks even during periods of ceasefire. However, these developments occur in a tense regional context, where clashes and accusations between the parties have continued to increase in recent months.
