Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a conversation with young people in Jalë, answered the youth's questions about the protest. During his statement, Rama reversed what he had stated earlier where he accused Iran, Russia and the algorithm of starting the protest and said that the cause was the people's problems.

Rama said that his duty is to read the messages properly, as everything is related to people's daily lives.

Rama again accused the most active protestors and various social media sites of adding fuel to the fire and amplifying negativity through algorithms. Rama also rejected the accusations of selling Zvërnec and Sazan and denied that there was an agreement.

"The fact is that we live in a time when the level of attention to what we see and discuss has declined.

Attention is important because it is related to the significant presence of virtual life in our lives, where we all spend a large part of our time. And people are the first victim of any communication.
The algorithm plays a major role in determining the color of life, as long as we are connected to it. This does not mean that the algorithm determines the reason why we do one action or another. It is an amplifier of anger, dissatisfaction and everything that tends to go wrong, towards scandal. This is human nature, it is not just ours.

There are studies that have been done on algorithms and how lies, accusations, scandals, and everything that amplifies negative energy have a wider reach than news that does not contain hype, even when the latter represents the truth.

I didn't say that the algorithm is the reason for the protest. The reasons are related to people's daily lives and are essential issues to read and understand properly. But the algorithm amplifies the noise and negativity, all those incentives that come in the form of manipulated videos, fake news, which fuel or pour gasoline on a fire that has been lit by people.

On the other hand, it is indisputable that every protest carries more than one message within itself. Whatever the reason for the protest, it carries messages and my task is to understand it as best as possible, to analyze the organizers, to see what is beyond what appears and to create as clear a picture as possible of the spectrum and forces involved.

Just as the algorithm is not the organizer, the hostile and malicious forces involved that may be strongly involved are not the reason why people have come out to protest. But it is important to understand where the sincere motive of the protest ends, how the demands are addressed, and what the solutions are. It is also necessary to understand where sincerity ends and manipulation begins, when a cause can become a means for other interests.

The separation is made at the point where a real path to solving problems is required or not. It is very important to separate the part of the causes and problems that require addressing from the part that requires accurate information. As you have noticed, the protest started with Zvërnec and today this issue has faded, because it was understood that the reality of the facts was different from the perception created through disinformation channels.

It is not true that the government sold the homeland, Sazan or Zvërnec. The reality is quite the opposite.
"Where the government has responsibility as owner and administrator, there have been no sales. But, because we are in a negotiation process and the state must be part of this process, we do not have an agreement yet," he stated.
